For anything related to your personal data, write to hello@designariusz.com.
I am a one person business. There is no Data Protection Officer, and none is required.
What data I collect
Through the contact form:
- your name
- your email address
- anything you write in the message field
I do not ask for an address, a phone number, or a company registration number,
and you do not need to create an account to contact me.
Through analytics, only if you accept it:
- your IP address, which Google uses only to estimate your location and does not store
- your browser, device type, and rough location at city level
- which pages you visited, in what order, and how long you stayed
- which site or search you arrived from
This is collected by Google Analytics 4.
It does not tell me who you are, and I never combine it with anything you send through the contact form.
If you decline analytics, none of this is collected and the site works exactly the same.
Why I collect it, and on what basis
Contact form. To read your message and reply to it. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR,
steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
If your message is not about a possible project, the basis is your consent, given by sending the form.
Analytics. To see which pages people actually read and where they lose interest, so I can improve the site. The legal basis is your consent, given through the cookie banner.
You can withdraw it at any time by clearing your cookies or by using the banner again.
Who has access
Only me. I do not sell your data, I do not share it for marketing, and I do not transfer it outside the EEA.
Two service providers process data on my behalf:
- dhosting.pl, which hosts this website and my email, in Poland (EU)
- Google Ireland Limited, which runs the analytics, if you accepted it
Both act as processors and may not use your data for their own purposes. Google may transfer analytics data to servers in the United States. That transfer runs on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognized as providing an adequate level of protection. I also use Google Search Console to see how the site performs in search results. It does not place cookies on this website and shows me only aggregated numbers, never individual visitors.
How long I keep it
Messages sent through the contact form arrive in my email inbox and are not stored anywhere else. If the form shows an error, what you typed is kept on the server for 15 minutes, so you do not have to type it again, and then it expires.
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: deleted after 12 months
- Correspondence with clients: kept for 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires me to keep my business administration for that long
- Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months.
Automated decision making
I do not use algorithms, profiling, or automated decision making of any kind. Every message is read by me personally.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to:
- show you what data I hold about you
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it
- limit what I do with it
- send it to you in a portable format
- stop processing it, where the basis is consent or legitimate interest
Write to contact@designariusz.com and I will respond within 14 days. If you think I am handling your data incorrectly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Cookies
Functional cookies. One cookie, dd_consent, remembers your choice in the cookie banner for 6 months. It is always active and does not require consent.
Analytics cookies. Placed by Google Analytics 4 only after you accept them in the banner. They expire after 14 months at the latest.
There are no advertising cookies on this site and nothing here follows you to other websites.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer, or by deleting the cookies in your browser.
Changes
If I change how I handle personal data, I update this page and the date at the top.
